About the Gallery

Out of Our Hands is a consignment gallery specializing in handmade crafts made by area artisans. We have two floors stocked with beautifully crafted items from over 60 artists, and with so many mediums represented, we are bound to keep you browsing!

We are proud to have a strong and supportive customer base because the store has been a part of the Emmaus community for close to seven years. With our gallery being located right on the main street, we receive lots of foot traffic and many shoppers enjoying the local restaurants, specialty shops, or the spring-to-fall farmer’s market just across the street. Our customers are mainly searching for a unique gift for a special person, but often times they leave with things for themselves as well!

Each visit to Out of Our Hands is a unique shopping experience because we are constantly updating our inventory with our artists’ newest creations. We strive to provide our customers with beautifully handcrafted items of only the highest quality that cannot be found in any department store.

We are located in Emmaus, PA, a charming borough outside of Allentown that prides itself on its walkable streets, unique businesses, and community events. In 2009 Money Magazine ranked Emmaus the 88th best place to live in the country. With the addition of a brand new town triangle complete with a fountain and many exciting future plans including a parking garage, Emmaus is quickly becoming a high-end shopping district, but with an inviting small-town feeling.
