About the Owners
Out of Our Hands began as an idea between a group of artists who all had experience with showing at area craft fairs. They were looking for permanent venues in order to not only house their own work, but also to support the talent they had seen from other craft artisans. In starting up the gallery, they worked hard to promote the art of fine craftsmanship and build up an impressive customer base.
In April of 2009, the Yura family of Yardley, PA took over the establishment. The Yuras have much experience and a deep commitment to the arts, especially in the fields of art education, photography, video and graphic design. They are working hard to continue the pleasant atmosphere and reputation of fine customer service and quality gifts that the previous owners had consistently shown for over six years.
Our Gallery Manager, Lauren Beck, is a consistent face at the gallery, although the rest of the family puts in many hours there on a regular basis. The new owners are very thankful for the support the customers and the community has given.
