My interest in origami started when I was eight years old and my parents enrolled me in an after school program teaching the basics of origami. I have been self-taught since that time, reading books and experimenting with my own designs for years. I have had the privilege of participating in the Burrillville Arts & Crafts Festival in Rhode Island and receiving an award for Honorable Mention in 2007.

It is incredible how small and intricate the folded designs can become. I have been inspired by many friends and family members to continue with origami, and I am happy to share it.

Mikowychok, John

John Mikowychok has been an avid 35mm photographer since 1980, and has a background in conservation. His macro photographs are shot using conventional film cameras with an autobellows (a focusing rail and black fabric extendable “box” similar to the old view cameras of the early 1900s). His travels around Pennsylvania as a manager of public parks and a fly fishermen have provided him with a deep appreciation of nature’s beauty, fury and diversity

Susan has enjoyed photography for the past five years and has decided to share some scenes of nature that she has captured in the form of greeting cards. The blank cards allow the sender to write a personalized note. Her cards range from seasonal subjects to “places and things” that have caught her eye. They can be used for a variety of occasions.

Susan Boyer is also known to Lehigh Valley audiences as a soprano soloist. She has performed live and recorded with the Allentown Band and the Summer Harmony Men’s Chorus, and in concert with the Allentown Symphony Orchestra, the Lehigh Valley Chamber Orchestra, the Bel Canto Singers, and the Concord Chamber Singers. She appears regularly as a soloist in oratorio and recital performances throughout the region.
