I have been self-taught since that time, reading books and experimenting with my own designs for years. I have had the privilege of participating in the Burrillville Arts & Crafts Festival in Rhode Island and receiving an award for Honorable Mention in 2007.

It is incredible how small and intricate the folded designs can become. I have been inspired by many friends and family members to continue with origami, and I am happy to share it.

His macro photographs are shot using conventional film cameras with an autobellows (a focusing rail and black fabric extendable “box” similar to the old view cameras of the early 1900s). His travels around Pennsylvania as a manager of public parks and a fly fishermen have provided him with a deep appreciation of nature’s beauty, fury and diversity
